My food philosophy is born from the most basic element in our organic earth...the CARBON atom. In fact the basis of organic chemistry involves substances containing CARBON. So, when somebody asks me, "Jason, is that organic?", I usually always answer "YES!", even if the label doesn't say "Certified Organic". So, I take the most basic, the most mundane form of any foodstuff, and prepare it myself, as unadulterated as possible.
I also extend this philosophy to the raising of as much of my own food as possible. Garden vegetables, fresh/dried herbs, fresh eggs, turkeys, and fresh pork are just some of the wholesome foods that are quite easy to grow.

It is important to define YOUR philosophy on your personal health care. Too many times, I have heard a patient say, my doctor said that I have to take this medication. Whereas there may be a perfectly sound reason for the recommendation of this medicinal treatment, you must ask yourself some very important questions.
